Just got back to New Plymouth from Taumaranui where Te Akau and I spent time with Ngarau and Herewini Tarawa and thier daughters Hiraina and Makere, the kaumatua and others talking about Kahu Whakatere Tupapaku.  Four hours is probably not enough time to deliver the preamble and the documentary.  I will revisit that to see if we can hone things a little more.

The whanau enjoyed what they heard - we willl be arranging a three day program at Taumarunui where Te Akau and I will give instructions on making the kahu whakatere.

We will be in Wellington at Wainuiomata Monday 8 to Tues 9 delivering a three day program.  This is intensive and requires approximately 25 people to  bring this project togethe

Friday 23 November I will be in Christchurch working witht the whanau down there for three days.  Come along to Taumutu Marae to join the team.

Keep you posted for the December Wananga.  Probably at Parihaka.

January looking to be in Hokitika and then to Teti Marae in Ngapuhi.
